Sierra Bravo Services has changed its name  to the Sierra Bravo Institute. It started out as the Sierra Bravo Training Academy almost two years ago, but has evolved into something better over the years. While we still mainly offer NRA classes and CFWL classes, the Sierra Bravo Institute will soon be entering into a new phase of offering personal defense programs as well as retail markets of tactical gear and communications. So stayed tuned for updates as we expand and grow.

Until then,

On November 8th 2008, the Sierra Bravo Training Academy trained 16 people to safely handle firearms. This took place at the Florida Federation of Young Professional Republican's Winter quarterly meeting. There were a variety of students for this course from those that are younger yet still 21 or older and those that are just young at heart. The instructor for this event was Stuart Brownstein the Chief Instructor for the Academy. A good time was had by all and we will soon have many more licensed concealed carry holders in the State of Florida. This was a great day for the Young Republicans and the Sierra Bravo Training Academy. We at the Acadmey hope to make this an annual event.
